CanCare is a Houston-based nonprofit organization that offers emotional support to cancer patients and their families through a network of more than 500 volunteers. Cancer patients are matched with a volunteer who has survivied their same type of cancer to recieve one-on-one positive encouragement and hope from someone who knows first-hand what they are going through.
